Private Construction Management for High-Value Custom Homes in Nashville
I am a husband of 21 years and a father of two boys. I am also an operator who understands risk, responsibility, and what it means to put your name behind your work.
My path to custom homebuilding was not accidental. Before acquiring David Patton Homes, I built and scaled multiple businesses. Four failed. The fifth succeeded and allowed me to retire at 37. Failure taught me discipline. Success taught me systems. Construction requires both.
I chose to acquire David Patton Homes because excellence is learned, not assumed. After spending four years working closely under David’s mentorship, I developed a deep respect for the level of detail required to build properly in the Nashville market. From water management and soil conditions to material performance and brand selection, I learned that what separates a good home from a great one is not aesthetics — it is control, process, and standards.
Today, we operate as a private construction management firm for bespoke residences. We take on a limited number of projects each year so that every home receives direct oversight, structured decision management, and disciplined execution.
Our role is not simply to build a home. It is to manage complexity on behalf of our clients.
We work in a transparent cost-plus structure with clearly defined milestones, weekly decision tracking, and documented approvals. This protects design integrity, controls risk, and prevents the chaos that often accompanies custom construction.
Every project is supported by a carefully selected team of architects, engineers, designers, and trade partners chosen specifically for the client’s vision and the technical demands of the build. We do not assemble generic teams—we build project-specific teams.
Our clients value clarity, communication, and professionalism. They want to understand where their investment is going. They want structure. They want accountability. That is what we provide.
You will receive routine updates, direct access to key team members, and a clearly defined process from pre-construction through completion. No guesswork. No hidden movement. No reactive management.
The result is a home that reflects not only your vision but also a disciplined execution behind it.
Our mission is simple: to build exceptional homes while preserving the legacy of David Patton through elevated standards and controlled growth.
If you are seeking a structured, professionally managed custom build in the Nashville area, we welcome a private consultation to determine alignment.
Crystal Stone
Director of Finance
Crystal Stone serves as Director of Finance, overseeing financial structure, reporting transparency, and capital discipline across all projects.
She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and English, with a minor in Pre-Law from Middle Tennessee State University. Her academic background in analysis, language, and legal structure directly informs the clarity and precision of our financial processes.
Since the company’s formation in 2021, Crystal has led the development of our cost tracking systems, documentation standards, and financial oversight protocols. In a cost-plus environment, disciplined financial management is essential. Her role ensures that every expenditure is documented, every draw is structured, and every client has clear visibility into the financial movement of their project.
Our clients are often making one of the largest investments of their lives. Crystal’s leadership provides confidence that budgets are monitored carefully, reporting is accurate, and financial decisions are handled with professionalism and discretion.
Beyond her professional role, she is deeply invested in the community, having received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Town of Smyrna in recognition of her service to youth sports. That same sense of stewardship carries into her work with our clients.
At David Patton Homes, financial clarity is not an afterthought — it is a core component of the client experience.
